/ THE PERFORMANCE

A clown performance born from the margins.

FIORER – Stories from the Margins is a contemporary clown and physical theatre performance developed by Gravità Inversa. Through bodies, rhythm, visual dramaturgy and direct contact with the audience, the work explores vulnerability, belonging, conflict and the mechanisms that shape relationships between individuals and groups.

/ ARTISTIC LANGUAGE

Four elements shape the work.

01

Clown

The clown as a space of fragility, error and radical presence.

02

Physical theatre

The body becomes the primary dramaturgical material.

03

Visual dramaturgy

Video and projected imagery extend the scenic space and enter into dialogue with the performers. Interactive elements are developed as part of the European evolution of the work.

04

Audience relationship

The fourth wall is unstable: spectators become part of the theatrical event.

/ FROM THE MARGINS

The margins are not the end of the map. They are another place to begin.

Fiorer is developed from Molise, a territory often considered peripheral within the European cultural landscape. The project chooses the margins not simply as a geographical condition, but as an artistic point of view.

Small communities, rural areas and territories outside major cultural circuits become places where performance can generate proximity, participation and new relationships with audiences.

/ TOURING & EUROPEAN DEVELOPMENT

A performance designed to travel, adapt and meet communities.

FIORER is conceived as more than a conventional touring production. Its circulation can be accompanied by workshops, audience encounters and participatory practices developed in dialogue with each hosting context.

/ WORKING WITH COMMUNITIES

The performance does not end at the edge of the stage.

Each presentation can be accompanied by workshops, encounters and participatory activities designed with the hosting context. The aim is not simply to bring a finished performance to a territory, but to create a temporary space of exchange between artists, audiences and local communities.
